My uncle said 'that dog food app was just a coupon with extra steps' and now I can't stop seeing it in every failed startup
We were sitting on his porch in Tulsa last weekend, and he was talking about a delivery startup he put $3,000 into back in 2019 that folded in eight months. He said the whole thing was basically a coupon with a middleman, and that sentence keeps popping into my head every time I read a shutdown post now. Anyone else have a family member drop one sentence that ruined how you look at these companies?

A coupon with extra steps is basically every app I've downloaded since 2015.
