Almost melted a fuse box because I used the wrong terminal cleaner

I was at a job site in Akron about 3 months ago, working on a Freightliner that kept throwing electrical codes. Grabbed a can of electrical contact cleaner off the truck, sprayed down the terminals, and next thing I know the whole fuse panel starts smoking. Turns out I grabbed the one that has a flammable propellant, not the non-conductive stuff. The guy whose truck it was just stared at me. Now I triple check every can before I touch it. Anybody else had this happen or am I the only idiot?

That flammable propellant cleaner is actually called electrical contact cleaner too, it's just not designed for live systems.
