Had a 2006 Duramax in bay 3 last Tuesday that fought me on a no start for 5 hours
Truck cranked fine but would not fire, and I chased fuel pressure, injectors, and a cam sensor before finding the real problem was a chafed wire harness behind the FICM that only lost contact when the cab flexed. Spent $14 on a roll of loom and tape to fix what almost turned into a $900 parts cannon week. What is your go to spot to check first on a crank no start before you start throwing parts at it?
