Just had a fuel injector line burst on me on I-35

Was haulin a load of lumber down near Waco last Tuesday when I heard this loud pop under the hood. Pulled over quick and saw diesel spraying everywhere from the #3 injector line on the old Cummins. Had to crawl under and clamp it off with a vise grip just to limp to the next exit. Anyone else had a hard line just let go with no warning like that?

Damn, a vise grip? That's wild lol. I can't believe you managed to clamp it off with just that and limp it to an exit. I woulda been freaking out with diesel spraying everywhere under the hood. You must have nerves of steel or something haha. Hope you didn't end up with fuel soaking into anything important on the way there.

Man that's rough, I've had a #5 line do the same thing on my old 7.3 and it soaked everything in oil before I could get it shut down. Hope you made it to Waco without too much more trouble.
