That cheap injector puller I almost returned just made my Friday

Honestly, I bought this $45 injector puller off Amazon last month for a 6.7 Powerstroke job, and it sat in my box collecting dust because the reviews were so mixed. Today I had a stuck injector in a 2015 F-250 that would NOT budge after a hour of rocking and soaking. Out of desperation I grabbed that puller and it popped the injector out in maybe 20 seconds flat, no drama at all. I honestly thought I'd wasted my money, but now I'm second guessing every time I cheap out on specialty tools. The slide hammer feel was a bit rough, but the grip on the injector body was solid. Has anyone else had a budget tool that surprised them when you needed it most, or am I the only one who gambles on those off-brand kits?
