I finally tried a cheap boost fooler on my 06 Cummins after 3 years of saying they were junk
Three years ago a guy at a truck pull in Bakersfield told me boost foolers were a hack and I believed him. Spent way too much on a real tuner box after that. Last week I pulled the box and dropped a $30 plug-in fooler on the MAP sensor just to see. EGTs on my 20 mile tow route ran about 80 degrees cooler and the truck pulls the same grade in 5th instead of 4th. Maybe I wasted $700 the first time. Not saying it fits every setup but for a daily driver with mild mods it did the job. Who else runs one and what did you see on the pyro?
