Am I the only one who gets annoyed when people post huge 4K files directly in the thread?
It totally kills the page load for anyone on mobile or slower internet. My buddy in rural Idaho literally can't view the showcase half the time because of it. Can we just agree to use links to compressed previews instead?

Used to be all about that raw quality, but you're right. It's just rude to people with bad internet. Links are the way to go.

Totally get that shift. I was the same way, always trying to embed the highest res file directly. Then I sent a huge video to a group chat and my friend on satellite internet just gave up trying to load it. Felt awful. Now I just dump everything into a shared drive and send the link. Lets people choose when to download it, or just stream it if that's all they need. Works way better for everyone.
