Had someone at the craft fair tell me my pixel art reminded them of their old Game Boy

I was set up at a local art market in Portland last Saturday, just showing some fantasy landscapes I do in Aseprite. A dad in his 40s stopped and stared at one for a good minute, then said it took him right back to playing Link's Awakening on his Game Boy Pocket. He wasn't trying to buy anything, he just wanted to tell me that. That little comment stuck with me more than any sale that day. Has anyone else had a random stranger say something that made your whole week?

Whoa, that's such a cool moment! Reminds me of when I was wearing a Jawbreaker t-shirt at a gas station and this older guy started telling me about seeing them in some tiny basement venue in 1994. He went on for like ten minutes about how the bass shook the floorboards and he could feel it in his chest the whole ride home. I didn't even buy the shirt for the band, I just liked the colors, but now I think about that story every time I wear it.
