Hot take: AI art prompts are getting lazy on this platform

I saw someone post a render yesterday with the prompt just being 'cyberpunk girl' and it got 500 upvotes. Has anyone else noticed people putting less effort into prompts but still getting traction?

Yeah "cyberpunk girl" is basically the default starter prompt at this point. If you want to stand out just add a few specific details like lighting or camera angle, it really doesn't take much more effort. Have you tried just describing the mood or setting instead of the character?

Did you ever stop to think that maybe the "cyberpunk girl" is SO overdone because it's just an easy way to avoid actually describing anything interesting? Like, what if we just banned "cyberpunk girl" for a week and forced everyone to describe a scene using only weather and time of day?
