Hot take: the clone stamp tool saved my whole week after I almost scrapped a 40 hour piece
I spent Monday through Wednesday on a digital painting of a diner in Portland and the whole thing looked flat and wrong. On Thursday I was about to start over when I remembered a trick about using the clone stamp with a soft brush at like 30 percent opacity to blend the shadow transitions. I went back through the booth seats and counter, stamped over the hard edges, and it took 2 hours instead of the 40 I was ready to throw away. Now I want to know if anyone else has a brush setting or blending trick that rescued a piece you were about to scrap.
Tried that trick on some graffiti walls last month after hours of wrecking them. Soft brush low opacity clone is stupid good for saving edges you almost ruined.
