I see a lot of people posting their art at the wrong size for Instagram

I kept noticing my work looked blurry or cropped weird when I posted it. After checking, I found out Instagram compresses images over 1080 pixels wide really badly. I started saving my final pieces at exactly 1080 pixels on the long edge, and the quality is so much sharper now. It took me about three posts to figure this out by comparing the files on my computer to what showed up on my phone. Has anyone else found a specific size that works better for other places, like ArtStation?

Actually, the max width is 1350 pixels for best quality. The 1080 thing is an old rule.
