My color grading monitor was 500K too blue, but I almost liked it that way

I calibrated my secondary monitor last week and realized all my sunset pieces had this cold tint for months. I was about to fix it, but then I thought, maybe the colder look actually helped the contrast in my night scenes? Has anyone else considered keeping a slightly off-calibrated display if it forces you into a specific style?

lmao that’s honestly kinda genius. my main display ran slightly magenta for like six months and all my skin tones looked weirdly warm, but it gave my portraits this soft dreamy vibe i couldn’t replicate on purpose. fixing it felt like losing a secret weapon.
