My first digital piece just hit 1000 likes on ArtStation
I posted a simple character portrait I made in Procreate last month and forgot about it. Checked my notifications this morning and saw the number, which felt crazy because my usual stuff gets maybe 50. What's a milestone that genuinely surprised you in your own art journey?

No way, that's awesome! Hitting a random big number like that is the best feeling. For me it was finishing my first full comic page last year. Spent weeks on it, sure it was trash, then a couple artists I really look up to shared it. Totally blew my mind and kept me going.

That's a huge deal, getting shared by artists you admire. I remember my first big project, a short film that took like six months. I was sure it was garbage too, but then it got picked for a small local festival. That kind of stuff really does keep you going, like you said. It's wild how our own work can feel so bad until someone else sees the good in it. Congrats again on that, @william407.
