My gallery wall got roasted at the online critique last Thursday

I posted six pieces from my latest series on the forum's weekly thread and one commenter said my color grading looked like 'a 2012 Instagram filter.' That stung, but they were right about the consistency issue across the set. I spent Friday reworking the lighting on three pieces and I think the whole series is stronger now. Has anyone else gotten harsh but accurate feedback that actually improved their work?
