Pro tip: Choosing between a 4K and 1080p display for my art portfolio was a real headache.
I had to pick a monitor for my main art station and was stuck between a 27-inch 4K screen and a larger 32-inch 1080p one. I went with the 4K option from ViewSonic, and the detail for my Procreate work is amazing, but I didn't think about scaling issues with some older programs. Has anyone found a good fix for older software looking blurry on a high-res screen?

Saw a forum post about forcing high DPI scaling in compatibility settings.

Honestly, that compatibility setting trick never worked right for me. It just made my old photo editor look weird and stretched out. I ended up keeping a cheap old 1080p monitor plugged in too, just for those programs. It's annoying to switch screens, but at least the old software is sharp. The 4K is great for everything else.
