Rant: a guy at the Portland art fair told me my tablet drawing looked 'too clean' and it's been eating at me for 3 weeks
I was showing my digital stuff at a booth in Portland and this older illustrator leaned in and said my linework had no 'hand' in it, like I let the undo button do the thinking. I've redrawn the same 4 pieces with no takebacks since then and honestly some of them look worse but they feel like mine now. Any of you ever get a critique that stung but turned out right?
