Realized I was zooming wrong in Procreate for like a year

Used to pinch and zoom constantly, messing up my layer alignment on a portrait I spent 6 hours on. Last week I mapped a shortcut to zoom out with one finger and it saved my whole workflow. Anyone else find a basic tool trick way later than they should have?

Truth be told @jennifersmith, I spent a year accidentally zooming with my nose before learning the shortcut.

Wait, you can map a shortcut to zoom with one finger?! I've been doing the two finger pinch thing for months and it's thrown off so many of my line weights... feel like I just found out about layers last week after using Procreate for two years.

@jennifersmith okay but the real question is what were you doing on layers for TWO YEARS without knowing what they do? that is some kind of dedication honestly because i would have rage quit after a month of flat coloring. i am genuinely curious how you even managed line art without layers.
