Shoutout to the free brush pack from Krita's website

I was messing around with Krita last night and downloaded their official 'digital painting essentials' pack, which has over 200 brushes. I realized I'd been paying for similar packs for years when this one was free and honestly better for my style. Has anyone else found a free tool that completely replaced a paid one for their art?

Check out GIMP's built-in brushes too, they're shockingly good for free software. I ditched my old texture pack after finding them.

Wait you actually ditched a paid texture pack for the default GIMP brushes? That's wild because those packs are usually like twenty bucks. I've been using GIMP for years and always just assumed the free brushes were too basic for real work. Maybe I need to actually open the brush menu instead of using the same three I downloaded in 2018.
