Spent 3 hours trying to fix a layer mismatch in Procreate - it was a tiny canvas resolution issue

I was working on a piece for a client and the layers just would not line up when I exported. Thought it was a brush glitch or something with my iPad. Turns out my canvas was set to 72 DPI instead of 300 DPI and everything was shifting. Took me a whole evening to figure that out. Has anyone else wasted time on a setting this simple?

Is it really that big of a deal though? I feel like a 72 DPI canvas still works fine for most digital stuff unless you're printing it.

Have you checked if your Procreate document's color profile also affects how layers snap together?
