Tested my tablet at 8 pressure levels against a $9 screen glove, and the cheap fix won by a mile
I do digital art on a Samsung Tab S6 Lite and my palm kept leaving stray marks on the canvas, so last month I finally tried two fixes side by side. First I messed with pressure sensitivity, dropping it from the default 5 down to 2, which helped a little but made my line work feel mushy. Then my cousin handed me a $9 artist glove from Amazon that covers the last two fingers, and the stray marks stopped on day one. The pressure change also slowed me down since light taps barely registered, so I put it back to 5 and kept the glove on. Total cost was 9 bucks and about 10 minutes of testing, versus 45 minutes of fiddling in settings that mostly did nothing. Now I want to know if anyone here skipped the glove and just learned to hover their hand the whole time, or if that's just torture.
The glove wins for most people because hovering your hand for hours is rough on your wrist and nobody actually does it long term. Pressure levels don't stop palm marks either, they just change how hard you have to press, so dropping them was never going to fix the real problem. Cheap glove, no wrist pain, done.
