That gallery opening last Friday made me hate standing next to my own art

Some guy in a blazer spent 10 minutes loudly critiquing my piece to his date without realizing I was two feet away, pixel density this and composition that. How do you guys handle overhearing stuff like that without losing it?

Oh man, that's rough. Did you ever think about just turning around and saying something simple like "huh, I painted that" just to see the look on his face?
