The color calibration rabbit hole swallowed my whole weekend
I decided to finally match my monitor to my prints last Friday, thought it would be a quick 30 minute job with my SpyderX. Three days later I was still fighting with ambient light in my studio, turns out my overhead LED bulb was throwing everything off. Got the colors looking right at noon, then sunset came and the whole thing looked wrong again. Bought a cheap blackout curtain for like $14 and now I only calibrate after dark, that saved me so much headache. Anyone else had to rebuild their whole setup just to get one color accurate? What did I miss?

My Eizo manual says calibrate at the same brightness you edit at, so now I lock my blinds at 11am sharp.
