Tried a $20 Huion screenless tablet for a year, then switched to a used iPad Pro. The difference in my linework is insane.

Man, I get that completely. It's like the screen just makes everything click better in your head, you know? I had a similar jump a few years back and my lines got way cleaner too. It's not just the tool, but having that direct feedback loop feels totally different. Honestly I think a lot of people don't realize how much the physical setup messes with your hand-eye coordination.

Honestly it's just a tool at the end of the day. Good line work comes from practice, not the price tag. People drew masterpieces with sticks in the dirt.

Forget the tech specs, the real difference is how much you'll actually draw. Having a screen in your hands makes it way too easy to doodle on the couch.
