Update: A client in Austin asked me to 'just make the logo bigger' on a digital mural I spent 80 hours on.
It was a huge, detailed cityscape piece and they wanted their tiny cafe logo blown up to cover half the skyline. Has anyone else had a request that completely missed the point of the artwork?

Saw a tweet once where someone designed a whole book cover and the author asked to change the font to comic sans. It's like they see the hours of work but only care about their one weird idea. That mural sounds amazing, and ruining it with a giant logo is just sad. Some clients really don't get that art is more than just a billboard for their stuff.

Drove four hours to paint a mural at a brewery. Owner loved it until his wife showed up. She made him paint over half of it with their logo blown up to like 6 feet tall. Looked like a billboard at a NASCAR track.
