Hit 1,000 email subscribers and it took way less time than I thought
Started a tiny niche newsletter about local food trucks back in March. I figured it would take a year to get anywhere near 1,000 subs. Then I paid $15 to sponsor one Instagram account in my city that reviews taco stands. That single post brought in 400 people over a weekend. The trick was the offer, a free PDF map of every taco truck stop in the metro area. People love a simple list. Did anyone else find that one small paid push beats months of organic grind? Or did I just get lucky with a hungry audience?
