Organic reach dropped 40% in 60 days and I think I found the trigger
I manage a local shop's Facebook page in Austin and we went from 800 to 490 average post reach between March and May. Same content mix, same posting times, same audience. The only thing that changed was they started adding product tags to every single photo, which basically turned our posts into mini catalogs. Facebook likely saw the shift as more commercial and cut our distribution. I ran a side test with a second page, no tags, and reach held steady at around 750. Has anyone else seen a sudden drop after adding shoppable features to their posts?
