Why does nobody talk about a Tuesday in March carrying my whole month
Two Tuesdays ago one blog post from my site pulled 11,400 visits in a single day and out of nowhere I got 40 email signups, which was more than the 3 weeks before it combined. The weird part was I did nothing special that week except answer 9 comments on that post with real replies instead of one liners. My theory is Google and readers both reward the back and forth on a page, because my bounce rate dropped from 71% to 48% that day. Has anyone else seen a plain commenting spree move their rankings, or was this just a fluke?
