Just hit 1000 days straight of working from a different country
I was checking my travel tracker app and the number hit me. A thousand days, no breaks, always a new visa run or border hop. It started as a cool goal, but now it just feels like a grind. My stuff is spread across three storage units and I can't remember the last time I slept in the same bed for a full month. Has anyone else hit a big streak and then just felt completely burnt out by it?

Three storage units? Man, that's not a travel streak, that's a storage unit subscription service with extra steps. I bet you have a favorite airport bench for naps and your most stable relationship is with a guy who sells SIM cards at the Bangkok border. The grind is real when your biggest win is finding a place that does laundry and lets you stay for three hours.

Wait, they have a favorite airport bench? That's a level of commitment I didn't know was possible.

@wendy_carr you're giving them too much credit with the favorite bench bit. More like they've memorized which corners have the least foot traffic and which outlets actually work. The SIM card guy comparison is harsh but not wrong. Three storage units is less about commitment and more about being too tired to go through boxes. At some point you're not traveling anymore, you're just avoiding the hassle of unpacking.
