Just realized my coworking pass in Bangkok was way overpriced

Someone told me the $300 a month Regus pass was the best deal in the city. Then I found a local spot called Hubba for $150 with better wifi and free coffee. Has anyone else found cheaper alternatives in other big nomad hubs?

Huh, you know what... I used to think the big chains were always the safe bet too. But your story about Hubba is making me rethink that. I had a Regus pass in Kuala Lumpur last year and it was $250 a month, but the wifi was so slow I had to hotspot from my phone half the time. Really makes you wonder how many of us are just paying for the name instead of actually looking around first.

I read somewhere that a lot of these coworking chains jack up prices for walk-ins and monthly passes because they know digital nomads don't shop around. Hubba sounds like a solid find though, I've seen people mention similar spots in Chiang Mai where local places undercut the big names by half. Always worth digging into Facebook groups for a city before committing to a big brand like Regus.
