Met a guy in a Chiang Mai co-working space who'd been on the road since 2009 and his one piece of advice still bugs me
Back in 2019 I was sitting next to this older British guy at a co-working spot in Chiang Mai, and when I asked how long he'd been doing this he said since 2009, back when people just called it 'working abroad.' He looked at my screen full of flight tabs and said the nomads who burn out are the ones chasing new cities instead of just picking two or three and going deep. How many of you have actually settled into a spot for more than a year, and did it feel like giving up or finally figuring it out?
