Rant: My perfect Bali workday turned into a total disaster

Last Tuesday in Canggu, I was set up at a cafe with great wifi, ready for a full day of client calls. Out of nowhere, a massive monsoon hit and the power went out for six hours, killing my hotspot battery. I missed three scheduled video meetings because I couldn't even get a phone signal to email anyone. What's your go-to backup plan when the power and internet both die in a new city?
