I was going crazy trying to do spreadsheets on just my laptop screen, but this extra screen made me feel like I had a proper office setup and boosted my focus big time, so has anyone found other small gear that made a huge difference for their work setup?

Honestly sounds like a band-aid fix for a bad workspace. You're still trying to work from a tiny table in your apartment, just with more screens now. Tbh getting out to a proper cafe or co-working space would probably help your focus more than any gear.

My old setup was a laptop on the kitchen counter. Adding a cheap second monitor and a real keyboard made a huge difference for me.
