Tried coworking in Bali for 3 months and my productivity tanked

I packed up my laptop and spent 90 days in Ubud thinking I'd get more done with the ocean views and cheap smoothie bowls. Instead I ended up working from 10pm to 3am just to avoid the heat and the constant noise from scooters. The internet went out twice a week and I spent more time hunting for decent coffee than actually replying to emails. Has anyone else found that paradise makes it harder to focus, or is it just me?

Yeah I learned that lesson too, cheap rent means unreliable everything.

Got burned out from overworking and thought Bali would fix me. Took two months before I realized the pool and coconuts were just a different kind of distraction, not a cure. The wifi dropping during a client call really drove it home for me, paradise doesn't pay the bills if you can't actually work.
