Had a nightmare with my wheelchair last week at the grocery store

I was at the Kroger on Elm Street last Tuesday and the automatic door sensor just... didn't pick me up. Stuck there for like 10 minutes before someone noticed me waving. Then inside, one of those narrow aisles had a display pallet blocking it so I couldn't even get to the cereal. Anyone else deal with stores that just don't think about wheelchair users?

and don't even get me started on those self-checkout screens that are mounted way too high... i had to practically climb out of my chair to hit the "pay now" button at Target last week. then the thing kept saying "unexpected item in bagging area" and i couldn't reach to fix it. the cashier just stood there staring at me like i was the problem. i swear stores are designed by people who've never sat down a day in their lives.
