Hitting 200 accessible restaurant reviews and what it taught me

I started reviewing local places in Portland for wheelchair access last spring, mostly out of frustration after three bad outings in a row. Yesterday I posted my 200th review, which honestly surprised me because I never planned to keep count. The big number isn't the reviews themselves, it's that 47 of them were places that claimed to be accessible online but actually had a step or a narrow doorway at the entrance. That's almost a quarter of the places lying or just not knowing their own setup, which feels huge for advocacy. I've also noticed that smaller cafes and food carts tend to be more honest about their limits than big chains with fancy websites. Has anyone else tracked a specific number like this, and did the data change how you approach talking to business owners? I'm thinking of turning my notes into a simple map for our local disability group.

Honestly curious if you're reading into this too much. 47 out of 200 is annoying but not exactly a scandal, most places just have a step they forgot about. Maybe just hit up the owners directly instead of building a whole map thing.
