Just wasted $250 on a so-called accessible shower chair that didn't even fit my bathroom

I bought this shower chair from a company called ComfortCare online, thinking it would be a game changer for my daily routine. But when I got it, the legs barely fit in my tub and the seat was too low for me to transfer safely. I had to send it back at my own cost and now I'm out shipping fees and still stuck using a plastic stool. Has anyone else dealt with accessible products that just don't work for real bathrooms?

The product specs probably listed exact leg dimensions, and many of these chairs require a specific tub width or floor space. They often let you return things easier than online companies do too.

Wait, don't some of those medical supply stores charge way more than online though? I checked a local place for a basic shower chair and they wanted almost double what I saw online, like $120 vs $65. And the return policy is usually store credit only, not a full refund, at least around here. So you kind of get stuck either way, you know?
