Ramp vs. lift debate really hit me last month at a local event
I was helping set up a small art fair in our town and they had this portable ramp for wheelchair access. But it was steep and bumpy, and a friend in a chair almost tipped over. Meanwhile at the same event we had a portable lift in storage just sitting there. The ramp might be cheaper upfront but the lift was safer and faster. Has anyone else dealt with choosing between these two at community venues?

Rented a van lift once that broke down halfway through. Nightmare.
