Rant: The accessible entrance at the city library disappeared overnight

I went to the main library on Elm Street last Tuesday and the ramp I used for 3 years was just gone. They repaved the sidewalk and didn't put it back, no notice no temporary ramp nothing. I had to call the city and got transferred 4 times before someone said it was a 'scheduling oversight'. Has anyone else had a public building just remove their accessible route like that without warning?

Tbh they probably forgot ramps exist until someone in a wheelchair showed up.

Right? @veraw47, I swear some places just throw a ramp in as an afterthought. My old office building had one that literally led to a wall.
