Tried a tactile paving walk in Tulsa with my cane, got a surprise
Last weekend I walked a new route downtown Tulsa that had those yellow tactile paving bumps at every crosswalk, figured it would help me navigate better with my cane. Turns out the bumps are so worn down in spots that my cane just slides over them, and in others they're too tall, it actually threw me off balance twice. Has anyone else dealt with inconsistent tactile paving in their city, and do you report it to anyone who actually fixes it?
