Update: I got pushed around the Columbus Zoo in a broken loaner chair, and staff just watched
Went to the Columbus Zoo last Saturday and the loaner wheelchair they gave me had a wheel that kept locking up on its own. I asked three different workers near the tiger exhibit for help and got told the accessible entrance was "probably around back" with no one walking me there. My nephew ended up pushing me through gravel for 20 minutes while I held the bad wheel up with my hand. Has anyone else dealt with a place that talks big about access but leaves you stranded once you're past the gate?
