Warning: Paid $200 for a 'universal' wheelchair ramp adapter and it snapped on day 3

I bought this aluminum ramp adapter online thinking it would let me roll into my friend's van without issues, but the brackets bent under my chair's weight. The company blamed my chair size even though their ad said it works for all manual wheelchairs. Has anyone found a reliable portable ramp solution for vans that doesn't break the bank?

Bought the same kind of thing last summer and the bolts stripped out before I even got it fully mounted. Had to roll back down the driveway real slow hoping it wouldn't fold up on me. The company told me I was using it wrong and suggested I buy their heavy duty model for twice the price. Total scam when their own video shows someone rolling a chair way bigger than mine without issues.
