Changed my mind about tubeless after a flat on the bike path
Three years ago I swore off tubeless setups, thought they were just hype and too messy to deal with. Then last month I got a puncture on the Greenway trail outside Asheville, and my buddy with tubeless tires just pulled the thorn out, spun the wheel, and rode on. I spent 25 minutes wrestling a spare tube and a pump while he waited. After that ride I went home and converted my front wheel first, then the rear last week, and honestly the sealant mess is nothing compared to patching tubes in the rain. Has anyone else been converted after a roadside comparison like that?
