Dish soap on the chain before a degreaser soak cut my scrub time down to almost nothing
My chain was caked with about two years of grit and I was ready to toss it, but I squeezed dish soap straight onto the links and let it sit for 10 minutes before the real degreaser hit it. The gunk lifted off with a single pass of the brush instead of the usual 20 minutes of scrubbing, and the chain came out way cleaner than my old method. Has anyone tried this on a cassette too, or does the soap leave a film that messes with the lube?
