Had to choose between a puncture-proof tire liner and a heavier tube

I went with the tire liner for my commuter bike last month, and it's held up fine through glass and debris. But I'm noticing a weird wobble at speed that I never had before. Has anyone else dealt with that after adding liners?

Oh man, I actually had the same thing happen with my hybrid bike after throwing liners on. It was this slight pulsing sensation at high speeds that drove me nuts until I realized the liner was bunching up unevenly inside the tire after a few hard bumps. Taking the tire off and reseating everything with a little more care finally smoothed it out for me.

Nah man, @jason328 I gotta disagree hard. I've run tire liners on like 4 different bikes for years and never had any pulsing issues. Pretty sure it's more about the tire quality or the rim than the liner itself. Cheap tires just suck at high speeds no matter what you put in em.
