My buddy Mike convinced me to try tubeless tires after I saw him fix a flat in 2 minutes
I was always against tubeless because I thought it was too much hassle and sealant goo everywhere. But Mike got a thorn puncture on our group ride last Saturday near the river trail, and he just pulled it out, spun the wheel, and the sealant sealed it right up. That sold me, no joke. I ordered a set of Stan's No Tubes valves and tape on Sunday, anyone have tips for setting them up on old rims?

Have you tried sacrificing a goat to the tubeless gods yet?

Hold on, I gotta play devil's advocate here @claire958. Maybe the tubeless gods don't want your goat, maybe they want you to stop riding on gravel with 25mm tires at 90psi. I run tubes in my fat bike on the beach and never had a single flat, because I run them at like 8psi. The issue isn't the system, it's that people ride too hard on rough stuff and then blame the tube instead of their setup. Plus tubes are way easier to patch on the trail than dealing with sealant goo everywhere when you get a sidewall tear.
