Overheard a guy at the bike shop say 'just grease the pedal threads' and it saved me 2 hours
I was at a shop in Denver last week waiting for a tube and heard this older mechanic tell a customer not to grease pedal threads. He said grease can make the pedals loosen over time and you want a little anti-seize instead. I've been greasing pedals for years and never thought about it. I went home and checked my mountain bike and sure enough the left pedal was getting loose. Swapped to anti-seize on both pedals and they've been solid for 5 rides now. Has anyone else had pedals come loose from using grease?

Wow you just blew my mind. I always greased 'em too.

Wonder if the no-grease crowd ever dealt with sticking calipers.
