PSA: I was totally wrong about cheap tire levers until I snapped three in one afternoon

Thought plastic levers from the dollar bin were fine for changing a stubborn bead on my old mountain bike, then I broke three in five minutes on a trailside repair and had to walk home, has anyone else had better luck with the metal core ones from Park Tool?

You ever stop to think maybe the problem isn't the levers but the way you're using them? I've had the same cheap plastic set for years and they're still going strong.

Are you using them for the same kind of heavy jobs that break better brands, or just light household stuff?
