Was skeptical about wax-based chain lube, but 200 miles later I'm a convert
I always figured wet lube was the only way to go for my commuter in rainy Seattle. A buddy kept pushing Squirt lube on me and I thought it was a gimmick. After 200 miles with way less grime on my drivetrain and no extra noise, I'm eating my words. Anyone else have a product they hated at first but now swear by?

Oh man, my buddy Dave went through the exact same thing with that purple Muc-Off ceramic stuff. He bought a huge bottle, used it once, and left it in his garage for like six months. Then his chain started rusting from all the road salt one winter so he tried it again on a whim. Said his drivetrain was quieter than a library and he got almost a thousand miles before needing to reapply. He still talks about it like it's some kind of miracle discovery.
