A guy at the Tulsa farmers market said my 3 foot carrot looked 'too perfect' and I'm still not over it
I brought my weirdest carrot to the Tulsa farmers market last Saturday, the one that grew into a 3 foot curly spiral because it hit a rock in my raised bed. This older guy in a straw hat stared at it for a while, then said 'that looks store bought' and walked off before I could explain how it actually grew. Do you think people trust ugly mutant veggies more than pretty ones, or was this guy just messing with me?
