DIY garden scarecrow count hit 47 and my neighbor in Tulsa finally said something
I started making weird scarecrows about 3 years ago. Just junk from the curb, old mop heads, broken rake handles, that kind of thing. Didn't really keep track. Then 2 weeks ago my wife asked why I had 47 of them scattered around the yard. I counted and she was right. 47. Some have bottle cap eyes, one has a colander for a head, and the big one near the fence is made from a deflated pool float. The part that got me was my neighbor Dale finally walked over and asked if I was building an army. He wasn't mad, he actually asked if I could make one that looks like his ex boss. Now I'm worried the city might say something about yard decor rules. Has anyone here ever gotten a letter from code enforcement over their garden stuff?
